DESCRIPTION:Trade Cooperation Between Pacific Alliance Members and South Korea: Evolution and Prospects\n			 \n				\n				\n				December 3th\, 2020\, 10.00 AM COT \n			 \n				RSVP now\n			\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n			 \n				\n				\n			 \n				\n				\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				About the Seminar\n			 \n				\n				\n				In the framework of the project Exploring Trade Cooperation between South Korea and the Pacific Alliance\, a second seminar on the topic of trade relations and cooperation will be presented. The aim is to focus on public and private sector’s views and perspectives on the trade relationship between the Pacific Alliance (PA) and South Korea. The seminar will discuss the particular characteristics of trade and investment\, as well as challenges and opportunities in light of the signed FTAs and Korea’s entry as an associate member of the Alliance. \nThe event will be organized in two panels. The first one will be attended by public officials and representatives of the Pacific Alliance member countries\, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Colombia\, and an international expert. The second panel will include business and trade union leaders from the PA member countries who will contribute a practical vision of the effect of the FTAs signed between the members of the PA (except Mexico) and South Korea. \nPanel I: Public sector assessment of the trade relationship between the Pacific Alliance and South Korea \nPanel II: Perspectives\, challenges and opportunities of the private sector in the face of the signing of FTAs between the members of the PA and South Korea \nThe seminar is co-organised by KF-VUB Korea Chair and Universidad de los Andes. It is supported by Korea Foundation. \nIt will take place online on 3 December from 10.00 AM COT. Please note that the seminar will be held in Spanish.
